Police Shoot Man Over 40 Times (Actual video of the incident)

Three days before Independence Day, Milton Hall died in a fusillade of police gunfire outside a strip mall. He had been arguing with officers in a parking lot next to a shuttered Chinese restaurant when he was shot, in full view of passing motorists and while he was holding some sort of knife. Saginaw County Prosecutor Michael Thomas said later that the squad of police confronting him opened fire “because apparently, at this point in time, he was threatening to assault police.”
Thomas’ office and the Michigan State Police are investigating Hall’s death.

This is bullshit. They murdered him. He was walking away from them. They unloaded on him, claiming that he was charging them. I suppose they weren’t considering any non-lethal methods, were they? Of course not.

NYPD Shoot Dead a Man in Times Square After Attempted Marijuana Bust

New York City police shot and killed a 51-year-old African-American man in the heart of Times Square on Saturday afternoon. Police fired 12 shots at Darrius Kennedy, who was first confronted by police for smoking marijuana. Police said they fired at him when he refused orders to drop a knife and moved toward them. The shooting occurred in one of the busiest parts of the city and was witnessed by many tourists.

“He’s got a knife! To hell with tazers, cop cars, rubber bullets, K9’s and all the other non-lethal, crowd control tactics we beat everyone with a few months ago, let’s just kill the son of a bitch.”
