Police perform house-to-house, unconstitutional raids in Watertown MA ripping innocent people out of their homes, pointing guns at them, and destroying their 4th Amendment rights.
It’s sad because some idiot will justify it as: “There was a terrorist on the loose and we had to find him”, which is not a sufficient reason to subject everyone to (even temporary) tyranny.
That’s the difference between the North and the South, though. If they tried that shit here in Texas, I suspect there would be stacks of dead citizens and dead cops from the shootouts en masse between gun owners and police on almost every street.
Massachusetts state motto:
“Ense petit placidam sub libertate quietem”
which translates into:
“By the sword we seek peace, but peace only under liberty.”
So much for liberty, huh? Looks like the government agents holding all the swords don’t much care for the liberties of their citizens. At this point, who is surprised? Citizens of Massachusetts may seek peace, but in this case, peace was to the detriment of their own liberty. Those who put up with it deserve neither.
