Video footage of an incident in which two police officers are accused of assaulting a patient at a local hospital was released to the Examiner-Enterprise on Friday.

The drama starts at about 6min 30sec. There is no audio. But according to police, he was verbally combative. But from what I can see (and I watched the whole video), he was not a physical threat to anyone. I don’t see why they couldn’t have just arrested him peacefully if he did something illegal. Why was it necessary to tackle him, pin him with their knees, choke him and treat him like an out of control maniac? They even lifted him by his wrists after they handcuffed him. You know that shit had to hurt. He’s a fuckin’ kid. Look at the size of all those cops vs that one skinny little, non-threatening kid. I swear, they get off on this shit. That’s why they took the job. You can tell that female cop loves to show off in front of her male colleagues. She probably feels like she needs to.

She threatens him with fists, hits him in the throat, slaps him in the face, puts her knees into his nuts, chokes him, manhandles him, and what appears to be poking his eyes with her fingers.

All in all, this became a torture room. The police should have left the room, allowed the suspect to calm down, and then talked to him if necessary. In fact, fuck that. They should have nothing to say. If he’s done something illegal, take him to jail and keep your mouth shut. I really wish the audio could come through on this one.

The cop bootlicker would say that he was combative and mouthy, lunging at the police and that he deserved his treatment. Horse shit. This is not professionalism. This is police brutality. This is police instigating shit with a handcuffed, verbally combative suspect. I’d be angry if police assaulted me too. This was a torture room in a hospital. Plain and simple.
